I haven’t hennaed since this post. That was my 4th application and I had not noticed any significant benefits. Lately, I’m feeling compelled to give it another try. I don’t think I have the patience to do this on a regular basis so I may only do this every 2 or 3 months. We’ll see since I’m always changing my mind. Most people get significant benefits when applying henna every 4 to 6 weeks. Mainly I am looking for henna to strengthen and thicken my hair. I could care less about the dye and I hope it does not noticeably loosen my curl pattern! At the end of this month, I am going to do the henna application. I don’t have a solid recipe on my mixture as of yet. I’ve mixed henna with orange juice and I’ve also mixed it with amla.
Do you henna? Please share the recipe(s) that have been successful for you.
Thanks for reading. Be blessed!

Awesome! Can't wait to hear your results after trial #5.
I'm actually going to henna this weekend for reddish/brown highlights. (This will be treatment #3.) I plan to use a henna mix I bought online and a little ACV.
Curious to read others' recipes.
Hi Loo - I'm considering mixing henna with acv or green tea. I'll see what recipes I come across.
